Sweet Potato Digging Experience – Event Announcement

This year again, our sweet potatoes have grown well. The Neighborhood Association will host a “Sweet Potato Digging Experience” as described below. We encourage all eligible children to participate.
Date & Capacity
- Date: Sunday, October 26, 2025 (morning)
(Exact meeting time will be announced later) - Capacity: About 80 participants
- Rain Policy:
- Light rain → Event will proceed as scheduled.
- Severe weather → Postponed to Sunday, November 2, 2025.
Venue: Komagi 141, Nagareyama City
Meeting Point: The designated sweet potato field (see map).
Eligibility:
- Children of Komagi Neighborhood Association member families
- Elementary school students (Grades 1–6) and kindergarten/preschool “senior class” children (the year before elementary school)
- Parents/guardians are requested to accompany their children
Participation Fee: Free
How to Apply
Application period: September 6 (Sat) – October 14 (Sun), 2025
(Applications close once capacity is reached. Please apply early.)
Steps:
- Join via LINE Open Chat (no “friend registration” required).
- Fill in the required information (e.g., participant’s name, emergency contact).
- Reserve your participation using the QR code provided for LINE registration.
Important:
- If you cannot access the form, it means registration is already full.
- A “Participation Code” will be distributed only via paper circulation within the association.
- Information provided will be used solely for this event and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
What to Bring
- Clothes and shoes that can get dirty
- A drink
- A towel
- Work gloves
- A reusable shopping bag
- A metal shovel (toy shovels may break, so please bring a sturdy one)
